Muddy Cogs meet every Saturday afternoon to go for a fun & sociable cycle ride. Muddy Cogs rides are only €5 per person per week, with no joining fee, simply pay as you go. You don't even need to have your own bike to go along, as they can organise bike hire for you. Weekly tours vary from 10km to 25 km . See the poster for Muddy Cogs
1. Participants must be in good health and able to cycle competently on a variety of surfaces and conditions
2. If in doubt about your health , please consult your doctor before participating
3. Accident and injury cover is available under their group policy. To be covered, e.mail full name and date of birth to paul.beesley@sapo.pt at least 48 hours before time of tour
4. Muddy Cogs may split into two groups, Saturday & Sunday to cater for different standards of riding & fitness
5. Weekly charge may vary to cover transport costs when travelling further afield for rides.

Part of the Art Algarve 2009 programme "As bright as the Sun", "The Oblique Landscape"s exhibition, devoted to the landscape as its title suggests, presents works by 15 artists, belonging to the Berardo Collection and to private collections and art galleries displayed in two separate spaces.
Featuring work by Lothar Baumgarten, Pedro Calapez, Alberto Carneiro, Tacita Dean, Caetano Dias, Robert Frank, Hamish Fulton, Laurent Grasso, Andreas Gursky, David Hockney, Richard Long, Eric Poitevin, Yvan Salomone, Ida Tursic and Wilfried Mille.

Opening hours: 21 to 30 June and 1 to 27 September - Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 7pm, Saturday and Sunday from 11.30am to 6pm

Guided tours of the museum: 11am, 3.30pm, 7pm and 9.30pm

Please note: there is no access to Galeria Arco and to the first floor of Museu Municipal de Faro for people with reduced mobility.

Public art has triggered critical debates in modern society that encourage a more profound examination of issues relating to the implications, limitations and possibilities of this type of work.
Dialogue Boxes on Street Windows is an attempt to investigate the meanings and conditions of the task of reinventing the urban landscape, launching creative strategies for intervening in the geography of Faro’s historic centre. This initiative includes a set of proposals from four artists – Costa Pinheiro, Manuel Batista, Ana Vidigal and Susanne Themlitz – who privilege the discovery of space, expanding the scope of possible uses of the city and awakening it to unexpected occupations.
