About Natura Algarve
Natura Algarve is a new Ecotourism company in the Algarve. They offer guided nature tours in the Ria Formosa and Costa Vicentina Natural Parks.
Natura Algarve will take you by boat, by mini-van or on foot to areas not always easily accessible but perfect for getting in touch with nature!
The Ria Formosa is the wetlands area between Faro and Tavira which is bounded by sand islands on the seaward side. Here you can spot several aquatic and marine birds, waders such as dunlins, plovers, storks on their wild habitat, the magnificent flamingo or spoonbill, the exotic purple gallinule or even the timid snipe.
The Costa Vicentina is a protected parkland area along the western atlantic Algarve coastline - home to a wide variety of plants and wildlife.
Natura Algarve can provide binoculars, telescopes, bird and plant identification guides as well as having the benefit of qualified nature guides.
